Dickinson Foundation
The Dickinson Foundation has provided funding to the Center for Habitat Studies and is interested in marine science research and stewardship in the San Juan Islands and the Boundary Pass region.

SeaDoc Society (formerly MEHP), University of California, Davis (UCD)
The SeaDoc Society at UCD focuses on research relating to the wildlife and health of the Inland Waters of Washington State and British Columbia, Canada. The SeaDoc Society has provided funding for the use of multibeam bathymetry to characterize rockfish habitat in the San Juan Islands and the Boundary Pass region.


Geological Survey of Canada (GSC)
The Geological Survey of Canada conducts geoscientific–related research and has been involved in data collection and processing in the San Juan Islands and the Boundary Pass region.


Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS)
The role of the Canadian Hydrographic Service has been to assist in the collection and processing of multibeam bathymetry in the San Juan Islands and the Transboundary region of Canada and the U.S.


NOAA Coastal Services Center (CSC)
The NOAA Coastal Services Center works within NOAA to serve local coastal resource management programs. It has provided funding to the Center for Habitat Studies for habitat characterization and interpretation of geology and geohazards in the San Juan Islands and the Boundary Pass region.


Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW)
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife focuses on the stewardship and management of fish and wildlife species and has provided fish data and interpretation for the San Juan Islands region.


University of Washington (Friday Harbor Laboratories)
The University of Washington 's Friday Harbor Laboratories, located on San Juan Island , conduct marine biological and oceanographic research. Their facilities and technologies are available to the Center for Habitat Studies.


United States Geological Survey (USGS)
The USGS, which studies the Earth’s resources, hazards and environment, has been involved with the Center for Habitat Studies in data acquisition and seismic interpretation in the San Juan Islands and the Boundary Pass region.


National Undersea Research Program (NURP) (West Coast)
NURP supplies scientists with tools and equipment needed for exploration and research of the undersea environment. NURP has supported initiatives for underwater investigations in the San Juan Islands.


• Washington Sea Grant
Washington Sea Grant is concerned with marine resource management issues and has provided funding to the Center for Habitat Studies for the collection and interpretation of data in the San Juan Islands region.
